Alchemic designed, developed, and launched a communication platform for an operator client to enable them to effectively communicate their value proposition to their customers. We helped usher the product from concept, to development, and finally to deployment on over 10 handset models and over 10 million devices.
OPPORTUNITY |
The operator client needed to stay relevant in the new open ecosystem brought on by the new smart phones. Since they can no longer control, the user experience on their devices, the client worried that their value to their customers would diminish.
Alchemic saw this as an opportunity for creating a platform to not only allow the client to communicate their value to their customers, but to also reduce customer care calls, thus reducing the cost for the client. |
SOLUTION |
The Alchemic team worked with the client to develop the concept of the the new communication platform and created a prototype to gain the approval of all the stake holders, including the executive team, engineering team, marketing team, and product team. RESULTS |
The first version of the product was shipped within 6 months on one of the client's flagship handset model and was shipped on over 10 different handset models on 3 different mobile platforms within the first year. The product has reduced the number of customer care calls and increase customer satisfaction with the devices. The client was also able to monetize on the product by running a promotional platform for their partner vendors. The product is now pre-loaded on all their new shipping smartphones.
